Alesis VI49 – 49-Key USB MIDI Keyboard Controller

Take control of your music production with the Alesis VI49. This advanced USB MIDI keyboard controller combines a 49-key keyboard with drum pads, assignable knobs and buttons. It gives you hands-on control over your virtual instruments, effects and music software.

The keyboard features 49 full-size, semi-weighted keys with velocity sensitivity and aftertouch. This allows you to play melodies, chords and bass lines with greater expression. It also includes 16 RGB-backlit pads for triggering samples, launching clips and creating drum patterns.

49 Semi-Weighted Keys with Aftertouch

The Alesis VI49 features 49 full-size, semi-weighted keys designed for expressive playing. The velocity-sensitive keyboard responds to how firmly you press each key.

It also supports aftertouch, allowing you to add further expression to compatible sounds and virtual instruments. Furthermore, the Octave Up and Down buttons let you access a wider range of musical notes.

16 RGB-Backlit Drum Pads

Create beats and control samples with the 16 velocity-sensitive RGB-backlit pads. They provide responsive performance for finger drumming and triggering sounds.

The illuminated pads also give you visual feedback during music production and live performance. This makes it easier to work with drum sounds, samples and clips.

12 Assignable Knobs and 36 Buttons

The VI49 gives you hands-on control with 12 assignable knobs and 36 assignable buttons. You can map these controls to compatible software functions.

Use the knobs to adjust virtual instrument parameters, effects and volume levels. You can also assign buttons to control different functions in your music software.

Pitch and Modulation Wheels

The pitch and modulation wheels give you more control over your performance. Use them to adjust pitch and add modulation effects to compatible instruments.

These controls help you shape sounds and create more expressive performances.

USB-MIDI and 5-Pin MIDI Output

Connect the Alesis VI49 to your computer through its USB port. The USB connection carries MIDI data and supplies power from your computer.

It also features a 5-pin MIDI output. This lets you connect compatible external MIDI devices, including synthesizers and sound modules.

The controller also includes a 1/4-inch footswitch input for connecting a compatible pedal.

Software for Music Production

The Alesis VI49 includes Ableton Live Lite and Xpand!2 by AIR Music Tech as downloadable software.

Ableton Live Lite provides tools for recording, arranging and producing music. Xpand!2 gives you access to a range of virtual instrument sounds.

These software tools help you get started with music production using your computer.
